Today we review NutraKey CoQ10.  Coenzyme Q10 has been said to help produce energy and improve heart health which can allow bodybuilders to have longer, more intense workouts.  With CoQ10, bodybuilders’ workouts can become more efficient.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains only 50 mg of Coenzyme Q10.  Through extensive research, this amount is much lower than most CoQ10 supplements we have seen.  We are concerned that the low amount will decrease how effective this supplement will be on helping to increase energy for workouts.  The capsules are made of gelatin and rice flour. Because the source of the gelatin is not stated, we are unable to know if this supplement is vegetarian friendly.

Dosage

The manufacturer recommends taking two capsules per day.  The first capsule should be taken before breakfast and the second should be taken one hour before lunch.  Many other CoQ10 supplements recommend taking this supplement with food, while this one specifically says to take these supplements on an empty stomach.

Possible Side Effects

While no side effects are listed on the manufacturer’s website, through our extensive research, we know that CoQ10 supplements can cause stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea.  By taking this supplement on an empty stomach, these side effects could be more intense.  Also, one customer review did mention that the supplement gave them a bloody nose.

Price

One 60-count bottle costs only $14.99.  This is much cheaper than other similar supplements, but that may be because of the lower dosage.  Shipping does cost a flat rate of $8.99 and free shipping is offered after $50.

Guarantee

This manufacturer does offer a 100% money back guarantee on its products.  Should you be unsatisfied with the product, you may return the product for a refund of your purchase price or an exchange for an item of equal or lesser value.  For the guarantee to be valid, your product must still be at least 75% full.  That means, if you bought one bottle, you only have one week to try the supplement before requesting a refund.  Typically, dietary supplements take 4-6 weeks to fully build up in your system.  By only being able to take one week worth of the supplement to still be eligible for the guarantee, customers are not able to know if this product will actually work for them.

Our NutraKey CoQ10 Review – Conclusion

There are a few things we liked about NutraKey CoQ10.  First off, this supplement has no filler ingredients.  Also, the overall price of this supplement is much cheaper than other CoQ10 supplements we have seen.

Unfortunately, there are many things we did not like about this supplement.  The amount of CoQ10 in each capsule is much lower than any other supplement we have seen.  Also, there are known side effects of supplements of this kind that could be made worse by the directions to take this supplement on an empty stomach.  Lastly, while the manufacturer does offer a money-back guarantee, they do not give enough time for customers to truly try their product.  For these reasons, we cannot recommend this supplement.
